Access Anantara is Anantara’s programme for young hoteliers who are currently engaged in their professional studies. It runs at our Anantara properties in Thailand, the Maldives, Bali and Abu Dhabi.

The programme has been designed by Anantara associates who are recent hotel school graduates. It is important to us that it is closely aligned with the wishes and career requirements of the people who are graduating from hotel school today. Therefore the development of the programme continues under the guidance and oversight of our younger leaders. All the options are designed to help you link academic theory with the realities of working in luxury resorts, and to quickly become an effective member of the management team.

If you are still studying, we offer a flexible, 4-6 month internship programme that links in with your school’s academic calendar. You can begin and end at a time that fits your schedule.

• Property Orientation.  On arrival at your resort, you will undergo a 3-day introduction programme with each department to make sure you are smoothly integrated and ready to start your internship experience.
• Rooms Division.  This involves 2-3 months of practical hands-on training at the Front Office and in Housekeeping. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and the Front Office Manager, you will have the chance to gain full understanding of how these two departments actually work and how they integrate with each other and the rest of the resort.
• Food & Beverage.  Reporting to the F&B Director, you will get 2-3 months of hands-on training to gain complete understanding of how the Food & Beverage department operates. Practical training includes the opportunity to work at each of the resort’s outlets over the full range of meal periods as well as in the F&B office.
• Project work.  During both your Rooms Division and Food & Beverage assignments you will complete a special project relevant to the business strategy of the property. At the end of your assignments with each department, you will present the project results to the head of the respective department and the General Manager.

We welcome applications from people who are currently completing an internationally recognised Hotel Management School programme. You must be fluent in English and one other language.
